• Details about an existing solar system, such as the installer, sales company, equipment, and any photos, contracts, notices or documents you send us.
• Your location, if you choose to share it through your browser so we can look at your roof.
• Job application details, such as your resume and work history, if you apply to work with us.
• Anything else you include in a message, call, text or email.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, such as which pages are viewed, how long visits last, the general area a visit comes from, and the type of device and browser used. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. Our site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs.

How we use your information

• To respond to your request, schedule a consultation and prepare a quote or proposal.
• To evaluate your home or existing solar system and follow up about service.

• To send promotions, updates and marketing emails, if you have agreed to receive them.

Text messages and calls

If you give us your phone number and tell us it is okay to text you, someone on our team may text you personally about your request, appointments and service. These are not automated messages. If you would rather not get texts, just reply and let us know, and we will stop. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of doing business with us. We do not share your phone number or text consent with anyone for their own marketing.

Marketing emails

Some of our forms include a box to receive promotions, updates and marketing emails. You can uncheck it before submitting, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by emailing info@aperturehomeandsolar.com. We will still contact you about any request you have made.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only when needed to help you:

• With our licensed installation, financing and service partners, to prepare your proposal, design your system or complete your project.
• With service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting, form processing, analytics, email and scheduling tools. They may only use it to provide services to us.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site will still work if you do.

How long we keep information

We keep your information for as long as we need it to respond to you, provide service, and meet legal, tax and recordkeeping requirements. After that, we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.

Our website uses encryption (HTTPS), and we limit who on our team can see your information. No method of sending or storing data is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as Social Security or bank account numbers through our forms or by email.
